Cameron Carson is a Veterinary Nurse. She joined Randolph Animal Hospital in June, 2011.
Cameron's responsibilities at Randolph Animal Hospital include caring for our boarders, assisting our veterinarians with surgeries, bathing our boarders and patients, and lab work. Her sense of humor and willingness to learn new things are among her greatest strengths. "Randolph Animal Hospital has an amazing, supportive staff, caring doctors, and a family atmosphere. Everyone here is willing to learn and grow," she says.
Cameron has two dogs, Pit bulls named Roxanne and Dozer. She also has two Maine Coon cats, Kitty-Fatty and Minxey. In her free time, Cameron enjoys caring for her pets, going to the beach with her dogs, and spending time with her family.
Bonita Parker joined Randolph Animal Hospital in October, 2005. With 27 years of experience in the animal care field, Bonita has developed a keen sense of being able to read animals and comfort them with her calm demeanor. Before coming to Randolph Animal Hospital, Bonita worked as a veterinary assistant, groomer, and manager at other area animal hospitals.
Although Bonita has over two decades of experience, she says that her position - which includes staffing, scheduling, purchasing, human resources, equipment maintenance, and training - is never boring. "Everyone here genuinely cares about pets," she says. "I learn something new every day."
Bonita has six cats and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, reading (especially Stephen King), and gaming.
Amanda Ellison joined Randolph Animal Hospital in December, 2012.
As one of our Veterinary Nurses, Amanda's responsibilities include taking care of our boarding and hospitalized animals, assisting our veterinarians during exams, administering medications, and obtaining samples for laboratory testing. "I like helping the doctors in the exam rooms because you not only get to meet new animals, but you also get to meet new people and see how much they care about their pets," she says.
Amanda has high praise for her coworkers. "I like working here because everyone here works well together as a team. They are the most compassionate, caring, kind hearted, and hardworking people you will ever meet," she says.
Amanda has two dogs: Lilly, a Boston terrier (pictured); and Belle, a pit bull. In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her children, baking, reading, fishing, and swimming.
